Spider Hockey Academy 2026/27
The Spider Academy is a season long game improvement plan that consists of a weekly 75-minute-High Performance Session delivered over 2 half season blocks or 1 full season block from
- August – June (24 Weeks)
- August – December (12 Weeks)
- February – June ( 12 Weeks)
Aim
This programme is designed to develop core skills for game play over an entire season. It is for Boys and Girls from Primary 6 through to Senior 6 across both training venues
Locations
West End
The High School of Glasgow at Anniesland, 637 Crow Road, Glasgow G131PL
Time
Session 1 is from 5pm-6.15pm (Primary 6- S4)
Milngavie
Western Wildcats Hockey Club, Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie G131PL
Time
Session 1 is from 4.30-5.45pm (P5-S1)
Session 2 is from 5.45-7pm (S2-S6 )
What is included
- 1 x 24 – week programme consisting of a 75 minute session with a ratio of 10 players to 1 Coach
or
- 2 x 12 – week programme consisting of a 75 minute session with a ratio of 10 players to 1 Coach
- 40 places available in each Training session.
- Players will train in groups based on Age, Maturation, Ability and Peer groups

Head Coach
Spider Academy sessions are designed and led by Spider Hockey Academy Director and UKCC Level 3 Coach Euan Miller with a large coaching team.
